A Broadway show with an incredible soundtrack and incredible actors. Wicked gives a shocking insight to a childhood movie "The Wizard of Oz."
The songs are phenomenal and the actors all have great voices. It is truly a great story and musical. I recommend EVERYONE to see this whenever possible.
This event was full of performances, performed by teachers and students to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of New York Chinese School located in Chinatown. The events consists of many dancing and singing created by teachers and students of traditional Chinese music and dance plus the modern generation.
I saw your video on one of the performances to a well-known song and it was very entertaining and hilarious. I've been to previous anniversaries and the performances are always great. There are sometimes skits that students do and other times, they tell stories.
Phantom of the Opera is one of my favorite shows out there (as you can tell from my longer blurb)! I also anxious to see Wicked as well as possibly Hair. Also, I would hopefully one day go see The Tanks at Mr. Kreb's theater because you never know… off off Broadway may one day turn into a big production!
Next to Normal is The Broadway show that I fell in love with. In such a short period of time, this show speed through many different aspects of life that people should appreciate. It also dealt with problems one may face. Truly an inspiring show!
This was an Off-Broadway docudrama about Iraqi citizens affected by the war on Iraq. It was truly touching and amazing as you learn about the effects of the war on the innocent people. The suffering and pain they go through is all true. It was base off interviews they had with actually citizens and the words are almost word for word. I would recommend to everyone but I'm not sure it is still showing.
Currently off-Broadway, the musical Avenue Q is a must see.
As you may all know, I am a big Ave Q fan. I recommend it to everyone as long as they're age appropriate because there is profanity.
Shrek the Musical is a must-see for Shrek fans and just Broadway fans in general. A wonderful rendition of the originally animated movie.
This broadway was a great musical that dealt with the issues of racism, love, and the American Dream. It is quite comical and very colorful. I enjoyed this very much.
Rock of Ages is a spectacular Broadway show that features rock classics from the '80s. The show stars American Idol star Constantine Maroulis. It is a show filled with laughter, exhilaration, and fun and should definitely not be missed!
