The Delorenzo Gallery on 956 Madison Avenue has extraordinary antique furniture. In recognition of artists during the French Art Deco period, the gallery mainly focuses on 20th Century art (Arc Deco period).
This museum gives a brief history of Chinese in America. They have a full timeline that guides you through the journey of the Chinese in America and gives you a background of what was happening in China that time that made Chinese believe that America was paved with gold.
I have been to this museum as well and it was very interesting seeing how many different places in the world are connected because immigrants travel everywhere in order to gain freedom from oppression. Also, there are many plaques in the museum featuring the Chinese stars of the past, present, and future.
My Plastic Heart NYC is a toy store that displays a new exhibit every two years. The exhibits usually deals with fantasy and toys, and takes its viewers to a new world, unknown to reality.
The Golden Autumn Exhibit consists of many different paintings created by different artists. Although the paintings did not focused mainly on the theme autumn, it showed many traditional Chinese art such as landscape paintings and calligraphy. The artists were also there at the exhibit, and viewers are allow to ask them questions about their artwork.
The classic example of a venue of visual art is a museum. The Metropolitan Museum of Art features a wide variety of art from different cultures and different time periods. Because it holds so much art, the MET is the perfect place to go to get your daily dosage of visual art.
I agree, because number, we usually go together. Number two, it holds so many pieces of art that is a part of everybody's history. It is really grand and really worth the visit, but remember the entrance fee is OPTIONAL!!

The graffiti mecca of the world, 5Pointz is an outdoor art exhibit. Aerosol artists from around the globe paint colorful pieces on the walls of this 200,000-square-foot factory building. No admission fees, no tourists, no ridiculous price tags; this is art in its purest form. 5Pointz is truly breathtaking; a must see in New York.

The Museum of Modern Art in midtown has a lot of artwork from contemporary art to photography to even a music gallery! In addition, they have special exhibits such as Monet's Water Lilies as well as the new Tim Burton exhibition. When you there, you should also try the restaurant and then check out the outdoor sculpture garden!
Sol LeWitt art installation at the 59th Street-Columbus Circle subway station - The subway station is filled with vivid colors and unique patterns. A must see!
